Apple releases AirPods Pro firmware 8B41 and Beats Studio Buds firmware 1B211
Apple has pushed new firmware to several AirPods models, with no word on what actually changed.
Apple has released new firmware for the AirPods Pro 3 and AirPods Pro 2, bumping both to version 8B41. The AirPods Pro 3 was previously on 8B40, and so was the AirPods Pro 2. Apple has also released Beats Studio Buds firmware 1B211 alongside this update.
As usual, there is no official changelog, so what exactly changed remains unknown. Here are the current firmware versions for all AirPods models, per Apple’s support page:

- AirPods Max 1 (USB-C): 7E108
- AirPods Max 1 (Lightning): 6F25
- AirPods Pro 3: 8B41
- AirPods Pro 2 with MagSafe Charging Case (USB-C): 8B41
- AirPods Pro 2 with MagSafe Charging Case (Lightning): 8B41
- AirPods Pro 1: 6F21
- AirPods 4: 8B39
- AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation: 8B39
- AirPods 3: 6F21
- AirPods 2: 6F21
- AirPods 1: 6.8.8
To update, make sure your AirPods are in range of your iPhone, iPad, or Mac and connected via Bluetooth. The update will install automatically.
