1. Turn off Chrome Incognito Mode on iOS

Turning off Incognito Mode on Chrome for iOS is not the same as Android. The app UI is a bit different and, if you transitioned from Android to iOS, things could get a bit confusing. It’s made that way to closely resemble Safari. But, worry not, switching between regular, incognito, and Recent panels is pretty intuitive. To switch between these options, you’ll need to tap on the Tab icon at the bottom bar and, slide to the left and away from Incognito Mode.

Here’s how to disable Incognito Mode in Chrome for iOS:

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Tap on the Tab icon (square with the number of open tabs).
  3. Tap on the middle option or slide to the left.

2. Turn off Incognito mode in Safari

To turn off Incognito Mode in Safari is similar to Chrome for iOS with a slight difference. You’ll see a drop-down menu that should offer an option to choose a regular start page or Private browsing. If you select Private, all new tabs you open will be in the Private (Incognito Mode). To disable this, all you need to do is choose the Start page option. You can configure the Start page and other settings in Safari settings.
