Super Mario Run issues: Players unable to open the game

Nintendo shook up the world when it released Super Mario Run for iOS. Despite the fact it’s just a few days old, Super Mario Run was already downloaded by millions of users worldwide. But when we cool ourselves down from the hype, it looks like the game is not so perfect, as it appears on the first look.

First of all, gamers are not so happy about paying $10 for the full game. But even those who didn’t mind the price, and bought the game have their own fair share of issues.

Users unable to open Super Mario Run

A couple of users complained on the forums all over the internet that even though their phones are compatible with Super Mario Run, they’re not able to run the game for some reason. Here’s what one user said on Nintendo’s forums:

“hello, my question is : Why won’t The game open for me? I try and open it on my iPhone and it just closes right after. Can you please help me? “

Apparently, he’s not the only one experiencing issues with the game. A few more users on the same forum complained about the same problem. Compatibility is not the problem here, because all these users have phones compatible with the game.

But just as a reminder, here are the system requirements for Super Mario Run:

‘This game is compatible with the iPad Pro, the iPad Air, the 4th generation iPad, iPad mini 2 devices and up, the 6th generation iPod Touch, and iPhone 5 devices and up.”

So, if your iOS device doesn’t fall into this category, don’t bother buying the game, because it won’t work for you.

Currently, there are no known solutions for this problem. As soon as the solution appears, we’re going to make sure to let you know about it.
