Since the Android Nougat update has been presented, a whole world awaits an update for their specified phone models. Only the ones with implemented Nougat by default are not nervously awaiting. Some producers have stated that updates are coming without specifying when exactly. That is not the case for OnePlus 3/3T users. They stayed true to their words and we have an update available for install. The only problem is the gradual rollout that may prolong your waiting time.
If you are not notified about the update, you’ll have to wait in line. Luckily, there is a trick to use in order to obtain the latest official update for your OnePlus 3 or 3T right away.
How to surpass gradual rollout with VPN and update to Nougat without waiting
VPN will let you change your virtual location on the grid. It will not harm your phone so you don’t need to worry. Follow the steps:
- Go to the Play Store and download Opera Free VPN.
- Select server from Canada or Germany.
- Make sure your phone is connected to a charger and have a stable Wi-Fi.
- Go to the Settings.
- Tap System Update.
- Disconnect the VPN app and start downloading. The file is somewhere around 900 Mb in size so it should take some time.
