If you recently encountered this issue, as well, keep reading this article for potential solutions.

Fix: Visual Voicemail has gone in iOS 11

Try some of the following workarounds to deal with the Visual Voicemail problem in iOS 11:

Solution 1 – Turn on “Press Home for Siri”

This is the solution that many users recently confirmed to be the right one. So, turning on the “Press Home for Siri” option is the first thing I’m going to recommend you.

Here’s exactly what you need to do:

  1. Go to SettingsĀ
  2. Head over to Siri & Search
  3. Now, turn on Press Home for Siri
  4. Do a reset (hold the home button and power button simultaneously for about 10 seconds).

That’s about it. This workaround should resolve the voicemail issue for you. However, if it doesn’t prove to be useful, we’ll try with some more general solutions, that could also come in handy.

Check them out below.

Solution 2 – Check your network connection

You Visual voicemail won’t work if you’re not properly connected to the internet. So, make sure you’re connected to a Wi-Fi network, or you have Data on.

If everything’s alright with your network connection, move on to another solution.

Solution 3 – Turn Airplane mode on/off

A few users have also reported that turning the Airplane mode on and back off resolves the Visual Voicemail issue in iOS 11. So, that’s exactly what we’re going to do now.

Here’s how to turn the Airplane mode on/off in iOS 11:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Switch the Airplane Mode on
  3. Wait for about 20 seconds
  4. Turn the Airplane Mode back off

Solution 4 – Reset Network settings

And finally, if none of the solutions from above work, we’ll try with resetting your network settings.

But before we move on, you should know that resetting the network settings will erase all your WiFi passwords, and saved networks. So, think twice before proceeding.

Here’s how to reset the network settings in iOS 11:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Now, head over to General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
  3. Enter your passcode.
  4. Tap Reset network settings.

That’s about it. I certainly hope at least one of these solutions helped you deal with the Visual Voicemail issue in iOS 11.
